Clear Balance is a product of CLEARBALANCE TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED, a private limited company registered in England and Wales.

Company number: 17117064.

2. Information you provide

When you use Clear Balance, you may enter information such as:

  • debt names or creditor names
  • balances
  • minimum payments
  • APR or promotional rate details
  • payment history
  • budget information

This information is entered by you in order to use the app’s features.

3. How your information is stored

Clear Balance is designed to store your financial and app data locally on your device.

We do not currently require you to create an account to use the app.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

If you choose to purchase a premium subscription, subscription and billing processing is handled by third-party platforms, including:

  • Google Play
  • Adapty

We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

These third parties may process information necessary to manage subscriptions, verify purchases, restore purchases, and determine whether premium access is active.

5. How we use information

We use information entered into the app to:

  • display your debt information
  • calculate payoff projections
  • show debt progress and planning insights
  • manage premium subscription access
  • provide customer support if you contact us

6. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We only rely on limited third-party services where necessary to provide app functionality, such as subscription verification and payment processing through Google Play and Adapty.

7. Data retention

Because Clear Balance stores information locally on your device, your data generally remains on your device unless you delete it, remove the app, or clear app data.

Subscription-related information may also be retained by Google Play and Adapty in accordance with their own policies.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information used by the app. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Clear Balance is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will review the matter.

10. Your choices

You may:

  • edit or delete debt and budget information within the app
  • remove locally stored app data by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage
  • manage or cancel subscriptions through your Google Play account

11. Third-party services

Clear Balance may rely on third-party services including Google Play and Adapty.

Your use of those services may also be subject to their own privacy policies and terms.
